Dibs design was borne out of the studio of well-known and respected award winning architect and furniture designer, Frank Böhm. His passion for exquisitely crafted, beautiful pieces custom made to your specifications became an arm to the studio. Herein The Dibs design team was borne. It is led by Nicole Böhm, his wife and Angela Ocker, founding partner. A dynamic team who balances each other across skill sets and experience.
With our extensive experience within the furniture industry, we have tailored our process to ensure the ultimate client experience whilst bringing your ideas to life. Dibs works closely with you to refine, polish and perfect your furniture designs and details of the project. Once this has been resolved we take over the day-to-day management and running of the project, keeping you updated every step of the way to make sure every detail is exactly as you envisioned. Nicole Böhm
Nicoles experience spans across 28 years of leading retail buying and design teams across Fashion & Homeware, as well as supplying into the chains from local and international supplier bases. As Merchandise Director of a retail chain and Group Head of Home at Woolworths the commercial understanding of customers needs and vision comes to fruition. A student of Fashion Design, as well as business management from UCT Business school and Stellenbosch University.
Angela Ocker
Angela Ocker has a BA in interior design and worked with Frank for years with expertise in the end to end process of initial concept design through to the final delivery of each professionally designed and hand-made furniture item. Angela has over 10 years of experience in the design industry and at the helm of her own interior design and project management business she has spearheaded many design projects at the forefront of the industry. Angela's eye for detail and unwavering push for perfection means each and every carefully crafted Dibs masterpiece is curated in such a way as to provide you as the client with a truly unique piece of furniture art.
